With our focus on natural stone as a material superior to both iron and ceramics, we started our ultra-precision equipment division in 1987 after taking on business from our group companies.
We have subsequently provided various products in the field of precision machining and leading-edge technologies as a top manufacturer developing our own combinations of stone, iron and control technologies.

Characteristics of Natural Stone (gabbro) |
 |
 |
| Only the most minor changes due to aging |
| Only the slightest levels of static electricity generated |
| Stone itself both dampens and prevents vibration |
| Only small amounts of heat transferred, resulting in stable surface precision |
| Prevents erosion caused by lapping with a hardness of 2 to 2.5 times that of iron |
| Surface precision maintained without any burrs even when scratched or scarred |
| No erosion, thus clean and maintenance-free |

What's Unique about Sekigahara Seisakusho |
 |
| We only use select natural stone from India and South Africa. |
| We do all work in-house, from the cutting of the stone to its use in manufacture. |
| We have received a JIS Grade 0 rating, the highest standard, for our surface precision. |
We also provide products with an ever higher rating Grade 00. Upon request, we can provide customers with maximum rated, Grade 000, materials. |
We do repairs regardless of original manufacturer. (certification and additional processing also available) |
| [ Data and Tips ] What is Grade 000 precision ? |
In a surface area equal to one square kilometer (big enough to fit 20 Tokyo Domes) there will only be a height differential of two millimeters.

Product Introduction |
 |
-
| Granite Surface Plate |
 |
|
A testing plate to accurately measure the height (parallelism) of precision components.
|
| |
| Orders are accepted for non-standard sizes and high-precision equipment. |
| Repair service is available on products, regardless of the original manufacturer. (certification and additional processing also available) |
|
|
-
| Machine Base |
 |
| Changing the precision equipment base from metal to stone greatly improves precision measurements.
|
| Sizes are available from 300mm to 2,500mm . (larger sizes are possible as well) |
| Hole processing, screw hole processing and groove processing are also available. |

| XY Stage |
 |
Used in transport and measurement when precise location settings and long strokes are needed.
Controls are available to precisely set dimensions and positions. |
Can run in long stroke or continuous high-speed modes. |
The use of an air float reduces the places where contact or friction can occur, and therefore: -few vibrations, less sound -less dust, maintenance-free -very little heat generated -very little lost motion |
 |
| Specifications Example |
| Stroke : | 1,000mm |
| Straightness : | 1ƒÊm in the vertical direction 1ƒÊm in the horizontal direction |

| Suction Board |
 |
| Used in manufacturing, testing, etc., of glass substrates used for LCDs, plasma displays, etc.
|
| Surface precision maintained without any burrs even when scratched or scarred. |
| Used to create highly-precise large-scale equipment. |
| Two suction methods are available: (1) grooved and (2) pored. |
|
 | (1)groove-type | (2)pore-type |

Plants and Facilities |
 |
| All work is done in-house, from the cutting of the stone to its use in manufacture. |
| A wealth of the latest equipment and testing facilities allows us to produce highly-precise products. |
| Work is done in rooms where temperature and humidity are maintained at fixed levels. |
